The new United Airlines Technical Operations Center at Los Angeles International Airport includes two connected structural steel buildings totaling 407,400 gross square feet: a ground support equipment (GSE) and facilities maintenance building and an aircraft maintenance hangar. The ground support equipment building is approximately 50,000 square feet. The facility’s hangar is approximately 256,000 square feet and accommodates up to six narrow-body or two wide-body aircraft at a time. The project achieved LEED Gold certification.
