Danny McAuliffe, PE
President
Danny is the president of McAuliffe Construction, leading the team in project pursuits, execution, and project controls. A licensed Civil Engineer, Danny is particularly interested in CPM scheduling and construction means and methods - expertise he has brought to commercial, multi-family, institutional, retail, hospitality, and higher education building projects ranging from $2MM to $300MM in construction cost. Danny is an adjunct faculty member in the department of civil engineering at the University of Southern California (USC). He has a Master of Science, Civil Engineering from USC and a Bachelor of Science, Structural Engineering from UC San Diego.

Ismael (Ish) Maldonado
General Superintendent
As the general superintendent of McAuliffe Construction, Ish coordinates with and oversees our valued subcontractor partners on our general contracting projects while directly managing McA’s self-performing field crews. With nearly 20 years of construction experience working for a large regional contractor, beginning with a carpenter apprenticeship culminating in a decade of construction management, Ish’s hands-on approach and personable leadership has generated tremendous success in over $50MM of self-performing contracts. Ish is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach where he resides with his wife and two boys.

Bruce Arikawa
Estimator
Bruce began his construction proficiency as a draftsman for architectural firms in Ventura County and Los Angeles while he finished his education at California State University, Long Beach. As a project manager, he’s involved in pre-construction planning and estimating, oversees the daily operations of the construction process, directs and manages project teams to establish operational priorities, and builds and maintains relationships with our construction partners. His 21 years of involvement in cutting edge developments; from office complexes, mixed-use projects, medical facilities, to higher education, brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.

Logan Dawson
Project Engineer
As a project engineer at McAuliffe Construction, Logan maintains day-to-day progress across projects through coordination with the McA Team, trade partners, and valued clients from pre-construction to punchlist. With multiple internships involving Federal Projects throughout the Country, he is well-versed in the logistics required to maintain important completion dates and successful projects ranging from $2MM to $20MM in construction cost. After receiving his Bachelor of Science, Construction Management from California State University, Chico, Logan Joined the McA team with an inspiration to build successful commercial projects throughout Southern California where he grew up.

Ramon Ayar Negrete
General Foreman
Ramon’s 15 years of construction experience started with an apprenticeship in the Carpenters’ union and culminated with obtaining his general carpenter certification, which has been instrumental in his growth as a skilled craftsman. He has worked on many large commercial projects for major general contractors and has a notable track record as a champion in safety and effective crew leader. As a general foreman for McAuliffe Construction, his passion for construction and technical knowledge have made him an invaluable asset in the execution of our project goals while building a solid foundation for the company’s success.
